I love families and I love photography.  I believe that your photo experience should be filled with love and laughter with no stress and no time limit.   Whether it be for your newborn, your child or your entire family, your photo session will be relaxed and fun.  It may take an hour or it may take more, but it will feel like 15 minutes!  You will enjoy some special time loving each other, playing and just enjoying being together and I will capture those special times for you.


Each family is different and each photo session is different.  I am committed to making it everything it should be by going above and beyond to make this experience a positive one for you.  When you have a photography session with me it will be designed specifically for you. This is not a cookie cutter photo session.  As your photo shoot unfolds I will watch you interact with each other and capture what is truly unique about you and your family.


I love this job.  Yes, it’s hard work, sometimes so hard that I know I couldn’t do it if I didn’t love it but when I take a break I miss it!  A huge part of the reason that I do love it is because I love the families that I work with.  Sometimes when I am finished working with a family, after having seen them so many times, I get tears in my eyes as I say goodbye... or maybe when I get in to my car to drive away.  I am always ecstatic when they call a few months or a few years later to start this wonderful process all over again.  I love to watch the family grow, the children grown, the love grow!  My job rocks!


I am a mom to 6 amazing children.  Four of my own and two stepdaughters.  I am so busy looking after my children, my home and my business that I forget to stop and watch the little moments that are happening around me. I know I miss so much and when I take the time to stop and watch (really watch) the way my youngest drives his hot wheels cars,the way my daughter mothers the boys, the way they each adore their dad, or the way the older kids help the younger, I fall more and more in love with them.  When I am photographing my clients I am fortunate that I do get to stop and watch each little moment that is happening. It could be the way your newborns lips have the cutest little pucker, the way your baby picks up her cheerios with just two perfectly orchestrated fingers, the way your 4 year olds hand fits perfectly in yours or the way your teenager bursts in to laughter as you tease her, or wrestle with him. The best part is that I get to photograph that moment so that you can see it too, and... remember it forever.

We got them!  What a gift with the lovely card, book and beautiful albums.  Oh, we cried all right.  And then we all cried again with my mom as we looked through them last night.  It is so great to see them printed - really different than electronic even! We can't believe how good they are.  Way above our expectations (which, I'm sure you can imagine, tend to be high).  The portraits are stunning artwork, and you did a great job capturing the details, atmosphere, and emotion of the day. - Megan
